Overview: Our client, a production company, needed an efficient cost calculation tool to optimize production costs and enhance profitability analysis. The existing methods were manual and fragmented, leading to inaccuracies and inefficiencies in cost management.

The company faced difficulties in accurately calculating production costs due to a lack of integration between departments. Manual data entry for raw material costs, labor hours, and overhead expenses resulted in errors and delays. Additionally, the absence of real-time data made it challenging to assess profitability effectively.

We gathered requirements from stakeholders to tailor the solution effectively. The user-friendly PowerApps application facilitated easy input of cost data. Power BI dashboards provided visual insights into cost breakdowns and profitability by product line. Security measures safeguarded sensitive financial information, while features like currency bookmarks and conditional formatting enabled quick decision-making. This project significantly enhanced the company’s ability to manage costs and make informed financial decisions.
